Dr Hamish Jarratt BVSc (Dist), BSc (Hons I)
Hamish is a passionate mixed animal veterinarian, striving to provide the best care possible for both companion and production animals. Hamish focuses on empowering owners to become involved in the health care of their pets.
Hamish completed a Bachelor of Science at Otago University in New Zealand in 1995. He went on to teach physiology to undergraduate students at the University for 2 years before completing his veterinary degree at Massey University in 2002. His first job was working in the Illawarra at the Albion Park and Gerringong Veterinary Hospitals. He spent the next 4 years in the United Kingdom working at a number of companion and mixed animal practices.
In 2008, Hamish decided to settle in the Illawarra and has been providing excellence in pet care and production animal health at the Albion Park and Gerringong Veterinary Hospitals ever since.
Hamish’s other interests include rugby (watching only now!), fishing, diving and travel.
